Year 1 Multisports
Balancing
For our first multisport session we have been learning all about balancing using our bodies. We warmed our bodies up by playing a running, jumping and walking backwards game where we had to change our method of movement each time the whistle blew.
We then moved on to different ways of balancing. We looked at how tightening our tummy muscles - also known as our 'core' meant that we could balance more steadily. We also looked at balancing our bodies more effectively by spreading our arms and legs.
