Uniform Information

School Uniform

 

The school has a uniform, which we have kept simple and inexpensive.  The uniform helps all our children to feel that they belong to a ‘family’ and they are proud to be seen as part of our school.

 

We do ask that parents ensure that their child comes to school in the correct uniform as follows:-

 

School Uniform

Plain red polo shirt (available with school logo).       

Plain red sweatshirt or plain red cardigan (available with school logo)

Grey or black trousers, skirts or pinafore dresses

Red and white gingham or striped dress
Sensible, flat black shoes or sandals (trainers and coloured fashion shoes are not permitted) 
No make-up or nail varnish may be worn 

P.E Kit  - which should be stored in a named draw string bag

White t-shirt or polo shirt (available with school logo)
Shorts (grey or black )
or P.E. skirt or cycle shorts (grey or black) 
Plimsolls or Trainers.

Optional Outdoor Wear

Outdoor PE lessons in cold weather - plain leggings and tracksuits may be worn   
Hooded tops are not allowed for safety reasons. 
Red fleece (available with school logo) for outdoor  wear or outside games lessons in cold weather
Waterproof red school coat (available with school lo go)
Red knitted hat (available with school logo)

 

Jewellery

For safety reasons and possible loss, children are strongly discouraged from wearing any jewellery items in school,  Watches and Medical Alert bracelets are not classed as jewellery.  Hooped or dangling earrings will not be allowed only studs may be worn.  For safety reasons no jewellery of any kind is permitted during PE lessons  unless for religious reasons.  In these circumstances the jewellery must be securely fastened. 

Uniform can be bought from anywhere but items such as polo shirts, sweatshirts, drawstring bags etc with the school logo can be purchased from School Trends where you will also be able to buy items embroided with the Killamarsh Infant and Nursery School logo. 

Please remember to mark all clothing and equipment clearly with your child’s name.
