We have been reading the story, The Three Little Pigs. Here are some ideas:

 

Write a letter to the wolf saying sorry.

Write a reply to the wolf from the pig.

Write some questions for your letter (e.g. Why did you blow the houses down?)

Improve your letter and write it up neatly.

 

Maths:

 

Y1 - Place Value - Missing Numbers and One more/One less. Here are some ideas:

 

Roll a dice, write down the number. Then write what is one more/one less.

Write numbers outside using chalk in your garden for one more/one less.

Write numbers 1-30. Concentrating on number formation.

Practise writing 1-10 in words.

Write the number that is missing 1-20. (e.g. 2,3,_,5).

 

Y2 - Place Value using two digit numbers. Here are some ideas:

 

Pick four two digit numbers and shuffle them, put them into the correct order.

Choose a two digit number and split into tens and ones (e.g. 34 30+4=34 or 34 10+10+10+1+1+1+1=34)

Practise spelling two digit numbers in words.

Write the number that is missing 1-100. (e.g. 2,3,_,5).
