Week 1 - Seaside Pointillism Pictures

Welcome to Summer Craft Club 

This week, we have been getting excited about the summer and in KS1, our new topic is called 'Buckets and Spades' so we decided to think about what we might see at the seaside. We then used our drawings skills to draw some of the amazing things you might see (or eat!) on holiday. After we used a technique called 'pointillism' to paint our pictures. Pointillism is about painting in colours using dots. We used cotton wool buds to dab dots of colour onto our pictures to paint it. We can't wait to take these home next week when they are dry and show our grown-ups!
