Sound Walk and Mud Faces
We included phonics in our Welly Fun session today in the form of a sound walk. We walked around our wildlife area and listened carefully to the sounds we could hear. We then recorded this by drawing pictures and lines in a note book. After our sound walk we made mud faces on the wall...we even used mud to decorate our actual faces! We thought of how we could make faces without using mud too and decided to use a piece of wool as an outline and then use natural materials to represent the facial features!
