Science - Floating Boats
In science we looked at how to make boats. The children then experimented with different paper to see which would make the best boat. We had paper, foil, tissue paper, crepe paper, sugar paper, wax crayons, sellotape and glue. The children made their own boats and then tested them in water. Most of the boats floated but we then put a small character in them and asked what would happen if we added more people. The children all knew what would happen and were able to talk about which material was the best and why.
