Diwali

We have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Diwali, the festival of light, in nursery. we have made clay diva lamps, paper lanterns, peg board rangoli patterns, greetings cards, chalk mehndi patterns and read the story of Rama and Sita (to mention a few things!). To help us remember all about Diwali we made up our own song, "Diwali time is here again, time to light the divas, mehndi patterns on our hands, rangoli on the floor!"
