World Nursery Rhyme Week

World Nursery Rhyme Week promotes the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood development and education. 

Nursery rhymes are excellent teaching tools and can help to develop: language and literacy skills, numeracy skills, and social, physical and emotional skills – and they are so much fun!

The five rhymes this year are: 
Twinkle Twinkle
Old Macdonald
The Big Ship Sails
Incy Wincy Spider
5 Currant Buns
