World Book Day

We had a great time during our 'Jack and the Beanstalk' themed World Book Day.

Visiting the Giants Castle

We all dressed as giants.

We found that a giant had moved into the hall! There were some giant slippers and cutlery.

Mrs Weretelnikow read us the story 'Jack and the beanstalk'.

We made sure to listen for the giant coming back.

We thought about all of the stories we enjoy reading and what our favourite character was.

We then thought about what they look like and what materials we might need to make them.

We all did a fantastic job!

When we went outside for Forest Friday, We saw that the golden hen had visited.

There were lots of golden eggs all around the field.

We decided to go on a golden egg hunt and found they had tricky words on them.

We had a go at reading the tricky word.

We also read them with our friends.
