States of Matter
This week in science club we have been learning all about the states of matter: solid, liquid and gas. We have learnt about how the particles in matter move around differently according to if they are a solid, liquid or a gas.
We have practised our scientific skills by following some instructions to make very sticky slime. We measured out the contents such as glue and powder using scales and measuring jugs. We used pipettes to add colour to our slime and then we mixed and mixed and mixed!!! We talked about how we changed the liquid (glue) into a different state of matter. We then discussed if slime is a solid or a liquid.
