Summer 1 - Walking Through the Jungle
VE Day Celebrations

We have found out lots about VE Day and had a VE Day celebration.

We found out that the children were sent to safety and wore Evacuation labels

We created our own labels with our name and the colours of the Union Jack.

We found out about why we were celebrating VE day.

We looked at the Union Jack, the patterns and colours.

We then created our own.

We also enjoyed a 'Day of Dance' where we also celebrated VE Day.

First we wamred our bodies up and did some stretches.

We could all reach or toes.

We practiced different movements, following instructions to copy them.

We then got into teams and marched like soldiers to the music.

Finally we created a dance to a celelbration song.
