Science Week
Leaky Bag Experiment

Global Warming

We thought about ways we could help our planet, for example, by walking to places instead of driving in a car to reduce the amount of pollution. One child said we could get a really big fan and point it at the earth to cool it down!
Walking Rainbow Experiment

Floating and Sinking Experiment!

After the experiment, we thought again about the story ‘Somebody Swallowed Stanley’. This helped us to understand what plastic pollution is and how damaging it is to ponds, oceans, and the creatures in them.
Enhanced Provision
For British Science Week, we enhanced our provision with the theme, “Our Precious Planet”.
As we learnt through our play, we used our investigation and observation skills!
