We identified different materials around the classroom.

We found plastic, fabric, metal, wood and rock.

We also thought about their properties.

Which are soft/hard, shiny/dull, smooth/rough.

We then looked at how materials changed when heat or liquid was added.

The bread changes colour, became more rough and hard when heated.

We talked about how oobleck felt and loved from a solid to a liquid.
