Mental Health Awareness Week - Eat Well

During mental health awareness week, we linked our learning to our smilers work and we used the E for eat well. We invited our class governor to help us. We used a variety of different fruit and vegetables to create an owl. Each group worked as a team and discussed what they could use for different parts of the owl. The owls all looked different. After everyone had finished, we ate all the fruit and vegetables. Some children tried things that they hadn't had before. 

In our buddy reading session we shared a drink of fruit juice and talked about our learning. 

On Thursday we wore bits of green to show awareness of mental health.
