Helping the Hedgehogs
What a fabulous outdoor learning session we have had learning all about hedgehogs. We talked about the fact they they only really like to come out at night and are therefore nocturnal. We then found a great spot under the hedge row to put the Kingfisher Hedgehog House. We made sure that we picked a spot that would be “sheltered” which means protected from the weather. We then collected lots of leaves to cove the house with so that it is “insulated” and “camouflaged” from “predators”.
