Design & Technology - Making Baby Bear’s Chair
We began this design and technology topic by reading the story of Goldilocks and deciding that we would design and make our own chair for baby bear. Our first session was all about stability and building structures that were the most stable. We investigated how changing the shape and height would change the stability.
Then we made different shapes from paper such as cones and cylinders to see which strut re would provide the most stability.
Finally we looked at joining and attaching structures together to make baby bears chair. We are thrilled with our final masterpieces.
