British Science Week - Making Marble Runs.
Skylarks investigated which material would be best suited to make a marble run. We investigated by looking at the properties of play – do, plastic and cardboard and building houses with them. We evaluated each material and decided that cardboard would be the most suitable material to build a marble run.
We worked in small teams to build our marble runs. We selected cardboard, cut it as needed, decided on the angles of the chutes and put it together to create a marble run.
Finally, we timed the marble to see how long it took to get from top to bottom
