Black History Month

At the workshop we made Khamsa hands which are traditionally made in North Africa.

Hanging the hands fingers down brings positivity!
 

At story time we read Handas Suprise, learning about animals and fruits native to Kenya!

We drew fruit pictures and worked on our initial sounds!

At the Funky Fingers table we made Kwanzaa necklaces by threading important colours onto a string!
