Today we continued our story 'Dinosaurs and all that rubbish'. Then we looked at some pictures of dinosaurs and made up our own versions with various features like long necks, sharp claws, horns and spikes. We wrote descriptions to match the pictures using some different adjectives. For Maths we practiced doubles using the 'Round the world' game. Then we played 'Dinosaur Doubles' using one dice to double the number rolled or 'Dinosaur Adds' using two to add numbers together.
After lunch we all made a shape dinosaur using 2d shapes. Finally we went outside and made some junk models. There were some fantastic ideas and models to take home!
