School Dinner Menu

At Killamarsh Infant and Nursery we have Derbyshire County Council meals cooked on the school site. Derbyshire County Council put a great deal of time, effort and money into creating healthy menus and promoting the healthy choices to pupils. They also want to provide parents with all the information they need about school dinners and have developed the website below where you can find out more information.

The menus are on a four weekly cycle and include vegetarian options. If your child has any special dietary requirements then please speak to the school and we can arrange for their needs to be catered for. All our menus meet the current Government nutritional standards.

All children from Reception to the end of their time in Year 2 receive a free school meal. Any child attending our Nursery can purchase a school dinner for their child.

Please note that sometimes our cooks have to make menu changes at short notice (for instance if there is a problem with food deliveries) but we aim to keep this to a minimum.

Our school dinner menu can be found using the link below. If your child has any dietry requirements you will also find the form to complete to inform the school kitchen here.

If you would like to make an alternative choice of a sandwich or jacket potato for your child on a specific day you can order this using the form below.

Natasha's Law

Natasha's Law is legislation relating to the declaration of allergen information on pre-packed for direct sale foods. When our children go on a school trip it is packaged for your child. We will ask you to select the content of the packed lunch and label the packaging for each individual child.
