Today's activities were based around the story 'Where the Wild Thing are'. We started the day listening to the story and writing sentences about events. Then we each had a tangram to cut up into 2D shapes. We had to move the shapes around to make the sailing boat from the story and then we added extra detail to complete a picture. The children also played a dice game to create a monster face.
After lunch we painted our own monsters with terrible eyes and terrible teeth! Then... our final activity was the best; we went into the hall, took off our shoes and explored the large PE apparatus. We acted out the 'Wild Things' by climbing, balancing and swinging. Look at the photos to see how well we did! What a lot of exercise we had!
