Wednesday

Today was 'Easter Bunny Day'. We started the day by looking at the character and discussing what the Easter Bunny looks like and what he does. The children collected some words and wrote sentences to describe a picture, everyone did a fantastic piece of writing. We also made bunny ears to wear, made times for the bunny to collect different coloured eggs using clocks to half past and did some finger painting of rabbits and their carrots.

After lunch the older children did some science work and named the parts of a rabbit and we also made some bunny pictures by cutting out 2D shapes. It was lovely weather so we finished the day with PE outdoors using beanbags and hoops to make up simple games. Then it was time to 'hop along home'!
