Today we had a birthday boy in school. During the morning we made birthday cards and a large banner. Then we had some birthday cake for snack with a rendition of Happy Birthday to you. After playtime we played a few party games like, musical statues, socially distanced musical chairs and sleeping lions. We also had a dance competition.
In the afternoon we had some time with a sports coach so we played dodgeball, domes and dishes and a game of stuck in the mud on the field. We then had a go with a pinata. It took us lots of hits until we were finally in. Just before hometime we had a little bit of party food and another game of sleeping lions.
I think the birthday boy enjoyed his day.
