Thursday

Today we took part in lots of VE Day activities, ready for our celebrations tomorrow. In the morning we read a 'Magic Key' book about what it was like during World War II. We talked about what is was like for the children and the children didn't like the sound of it. We discussed how they used Morse Code to communicate and used it to read some secret messages. We then wrote our name in Morse Code. We then went into the hall and did some PE with Joe Wicks. After that we made some party hats ready for our VE Celebrations tomorrow.

In the afternoon we made some Jelly ready for our street party and made our own paper spitfire glider out of paper. After that we went onto the field to play some games and worked together to make some school scarecrows. We love them!!
