Today our theme was rockpools. We read a story all about the rockpool rap and then talked about what we might find in a rockpool. We chose one thing we might find and wrote a 'What am I?' riddle. Have a look and see if you can guess what they are. It could be a crab, jellyfish, seaweed and lots more. We then went outside to do some counting. We used the numbers on the playground to find one more/one less and some of us found multiples of 2, 5 and 10.
This afternoon we made some crabs and then went onto the field to make our own rockpools. We added rocks, shells and different sea creatures. They looked fantastic! We then had a sea themed game of duck, duck, goose. We changed it to include 2 sea creatures such as crab, crab, jellyfish.
