Little Red Riding Hood

In English this week, we have been looking at traditional tales. We had a surprise basket in our classroom and when we looked inside, we found a red cape, a card for grandma, a wolf and a book. It was Little Red Riding Hood! We made our self comfy and read the book. We really enjoyed it! 

Then we used our oral storytelling skills through 'Talk for Writing' strategies to learn a shortened version of the story, adding actions and Makaton signs to illustrate it. We were so proud of this that we invited Miss Holmes to come and listen to our story! Listen to our story below, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
