Road Safety Week
In Road Safety Week, we learnt about how important it is to cross the road safely. We looked at the 'Green Cross Code' to help us understand what we need to do. Stop, Look, Listen, Think, Go!
In English, we created road safety posters and sequenced pictures from the Green Cross Code. We also used our writing skills to write letters to the council to explain what we know about road safety. We also asked the council questions about the very important job they do.
We also went outside to practise using the Green Cross Code on our playground; we wrote the five special words that we need to remember on the ground using chalk and we helped each other to cross the 'road' on the playground using the zebra crossing.
What a week!
