Outdoor Learning - Keeping Fit on our Assault Courses in KS1
This week in our 'Fresh Air Thursday's' session, we were thinking about how to keep fit. In our classes, we worked together as a team to build an assault course for the other class. Woodpeckers built an assault course for Skylarks. The children used some PE equipment and some natural resources found on the field to make their activities within the assault course. All the children helped with sharing ideas, collecting resources and putting it together. When it was finished, Woodpeckers explained to Skylarks how to use the assault course before letting them start the course. Woodpeckers then listened to Skylarks when they explained how to use their assault course and they then went to have a go! How exciting! All the children really enjoyed this session.
