Number Day
We had NSPCC's Number Day today. We all came dressed for the occasion with different numbers and things to count on our clothes. We learnt about a famous mathematician called Kathryn Johnson who used maths to help rockets travel into space. We then used 2d shapes to make our very own rockets. We used numbers to weigh out the ingredients to bake some yummy cupcakes and added our special number cupcake toppers. During our Forest Friday session we went of a hunt for pictures. We made the number to represent how many things were on it using natural materials.
