My Money Week

During 'My Money Week' we have been think about our emotions around money. We thought about how we might feel if we lost money, if we got a gift of money for our birthday, if we gave money to charity and even if we found money. 

We thought about what we spend money on each and every day. We then pretended to go on a bus trip where the children had to chose their destination and pay for it.

Finally we thought about how we earn money. We did little 'jobs' to earn money such as sweeping the floor, tidying up and helping people. Then we could visit the 'shop'. The children thought about whether they wanted to spend their money or save or for something special.
