Maths Week
This week is maths week. Each day we have introduced the children to a mathematician and talked about what job they do. We have also introduced maths by reading a story for both Reception and Year 1. I will include the links to the stories so this can be repeated at home too. On Monday we went outside with a trundle wheel and some dinosaur measurements and we looked at how high and long the dinosaurs were. Some of them would only just fit in our playground!! On Wednesday we measured some dinosaur footprints using cubes. We had to work as a team to measure and then count. Then we made a bar graph altogether to compare them.
