Group Art
In art we created a group piece of work that represented fireworks. We watched a video of a firework display and talked about the colours and shapes we could see. Then we looked at a variety of items that we could use to paint with. We had a fly swat, a fork, some wool, a brush, a toothbrush, a dish brush and a scrubbing brush. They had to choose an item and paint what they felt represented the fireworks. They dotted, flicked, wiped, brushed and twirled to make their painting.
