We had a Handa's Surprise Day. We started the day by listening to the story, we then drew and wrote our own version of the story but pretending that we were walking through a zoo. We painted African patterns onto paper plates to make African necklaces. We played with animals and did some maths. In the afternoon we enjoyed some time with a sports coach and we got to practise our aiming skills using different pieces of equipment.
