Fresh Air Thursday - Alice in Wonderland Style

In our Fresh Air Thursday session this week, we wanted to foster the love of books and continue to celebrate World Book Day. As part of our Alice in Wonderland theme, we started our session off around the fire circle playing duck, duck, goose - AUTHOR Style! 

We then read a story by our chosen class author - Anthony Browne. The children really enjoyed this story and we discussed the names of other titles written by Anthony Browne. We then discussed the activity for this afternoon of creating a 'nature' cup of tea for our tea party using natural materials, nature and water. The children came up with some great ideas and had lots of fun! However, they didn't feel like trying and tasting their tea - I wonder why this was!
