Firework Art
At nursery we watched a firework display video. We talked about the sounds we could hear, and the colours and shapes we could see. We also imagined what we would be able to feel and smell if we were there. Then we worked together to make our own firework art using black paper and different tools such as cotton buds, tooth brushes, and lolly sticks. The children developed their skills and chose which techniques to try out...we had some very sparkly artwork! We also talked about firework safety and how to keep ourselves safe.
