Elephant Week

We have enjoyed our elephant week in nursery and have been very busy! In phonics we tuned into rhyme and heped Handy Elephant and Pandy Elephant play rhyming pairs. At the funky fingers table we worked on our scissors skills by cutting strips of colourful paper to feed the colourful elephants. At the workshop table we made elephant masks and thought of our own ways to make the mask wearable. At the maths table we made elephant lines and worked on our counting skills and number recognition. At the playdough table we used a range of tools to make our own elephant models. At the ICT area we used the tablet tablet to draw pictures of elephants. At the writing table we developed our pen control by decorating elephants and practising to write the letter 'e' for elephant. What a busy week!
