Easter Welly Fun!

Easter Egg Number Challenges

We started the egg challange by picking a golden egg from the basket...

...then reading the number, writing it on the floor with our finger...

...and then 'growing' that many fingers!

We then put the golden eggs in number order...

...and matched them with the correct piece of numicon!

We cracked open the eggs...

...to reveal a challenge inside...

...we had five different challenges...

...such as hop like a bunny...

...pat your head and rub your tummy...

...or balance on one leg for 10 seconds!

Easter Egg Hunt

We

worked

as

a

team

for

the

egg

hunt!

The Easter Bunnies (aka Mrs Stevens and Mrs Billyeald)...

...hid the eggs high and low!

When we came back to the fire circle...

...we counted our eggs!

Egg and Spoon Race

We finished our session with an egg and spoon race!

We worked hard on our balance...

...and co-ordination!

It was very tempting to hold on to the egg!

But we put one hand behind our back...

...and focussed on our balancing!
