Anti bullying Week

We linked our play to the theme of ‘Anti-Bullying Week’…

The children came to nursery wearing odd socks to celebrate differences! Do you recognise any of the socks?

We read stories about being the same and different…and celebrated the differences by looking in mirrors with our friends!

We focussed on turn taking by playing board games!

The children also celebrated differences by designing their own odd socks and making rainbow fish in different ways!

Make a noise about bullying!

We also thought about how to care for those around us in nursery. We reminded ourselves about the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ motto to stop germs spreading…then did a science experiment to see how far a sneeze travels without a tissue and then with a tissue!
