Week 1 - Cupcakes

We measured out all of the ingredients. First we creamed the butter and sugar and then we mixed in the rest of the ingredients. We used our spoons to put some into our cupcake cases and then we baked them in the oven. We chose which colour icing we wanted to use and added sprinkles.

Week 2 - Fruit Kebabs

We used our knife skills to cut the fruit into pieces. We then threaded the fruit pieces onto the skewer along with marshmallows and added a drizzle of chocolate sauce.

Week 3 - Pizzas

We measure out the ingredients for the pizza dough. We kneaded the dough and made it into the shape we wanted. Then we added our toppings and cooked them in the oven.

Week 4 - Thumb Print Heart Biscuits

We mixed together the dry ingredients. We then added an egg to combine them and create a dough. We rolled them into small balls and created a heart using 2 thumb prints. We added jam and then put them in the oven. 

Week 5 - Fruit Bars

We weighed out the sugar, butter and syrup. We then melted it and talked about how it had changed. We then weighed out the oats and dried fruit and mixed them all together. We put them in the tin and pressed it down before putting it in the oven. We left it to cool before cutting it into bars.

Week 6 - Pancakes

This week, to celebrate Pancake Day, we made pancakes and cooked them on the pancake pan. We then chose toppings to add and ate them. Yum yum!

Week 7 - Easter Biscuits

We have made some Easter biscuits. We mixed the sugar and butter. We then added an egg yolk, mixed again and added the flour. We rolled out our dough and used Easter cutters to cut out the shapes. We baked our biscuits and added icing and sprinkles.
