The children were asked by the Parish Council to take part in a competition to design a new playground for the park area in Killamarsh. The School Council led the challenge in each class to come up with playground designs. There were some really great ideas. We shared our ideas with the Parish Council when they visited our school. 

The parish council have now been successful in securing a grant for a new playground at High Moor which will be similar to the artist impression.  We hope that work on site will start in the next few weeks and the playground will be open at some point this summer for families to use.
