To start our 'People Who Help Us' topic, we had a special visitor...PC Gill! We learnt that she is a trusted adult in our community and helps people.
Equipment
PC Gill showed us a range of equipment and gear that she uses; such as her radio, body camera, protective vest, and identity card!
At home invite your child to remember the equipment that PC Gill showed us; supporting them to name the different items and discuss what they are for.
Police Car
We were very excited about seeing the police car, and had the chance to look at more equipment that the police use; including road traffic signs, evidence bags, and police tape.
At home invite your child to remember the equipment that PC Gill showed us; supporting them to name the different items and discuss what they are for.
Sitting In the Police Car
We were very excited about sitting in the police car...even though the sirens were very loud!

We even got four beeps for the Birthday Girl!
At home you could invite your child to remember the sirens and describe them for you.
We had a wonderful time learning about the police...thank you, PC Gill!
At home you could invite your child to draw a picture about this experience, whilst telling you all about it. You could also invite your child to make some of the equipment e.g. a radio using junk and crafting materials, and role-play with them.
