The School Council led the challenge in each class to come up with playground designs. There were some really great ideas. We shared our ideas with the Parish Council when they visited our school. 

The parish council have now been successful in securing a grant for a new playground at High Moor which will be similar to the artist impression.  We hope that work on site will start in the next few weeks and the playground will be open at some point this summer for families to use.

The Parish Council sent their thanks for our school being involved in the design process and putting lots of great ideas forward!

The visit provided an opportunity to look around our school, explore our Haven SEN unit, and see the outdoor spaces we offered to support our pupils’ wellbeing and learning. We also valued the opportunity to share both the strengths of our provision and the challenges we faced in meeting the needs of our children. We were grateful for the time taken to visit and listen to our school community.
