World Book Day
To celebrate world book day children came to nursery with a prop representing their favourite book or dressed as their favourite book character. Before World Book Day we thought of our favourite stories in nursery and then the children decided on what activities they would like to do based on these books! They chose to make sparkly rainbowfish at the workshop (the rainbow fish), sew yellow socks at the funky fingers area (the princess and the wizard), make skeletons at the playdough table (funnybones), have a swamp with worms to measure at the maths table (room on the broom), and act out the story of whatever next! at the small world area...great planning ideas nursery! We also made our own books! On the afternoon of World Book Day, KS1 children came to nursery to read to us...we loved it! Happy World Book Day everyone!
